About Us
Introducing Capt. David and Capt. Heather, our dog Stella. After getting married in St John, USVI, and abandoning our corporate lives, we decided the island was the right place for us. First starting with our beautiful villa which we lease short term (www.sunsetvillavi.com) and then came our boat. We have sailed her from the Bahamas to Florida, and then to the Virgin Islands, and all the way to Grenada, dog in tow! Our experiences can now be yours. We have been boaters all of our lives and love to go on one adventure after another including the best beaches, bars, and boating spots. Come join us.
About Stella Blue (The Yacht)
Stella blue is a 50' Xquisite X5 Sailing Catamaran (Hull #16 built in 2021). Carefully fabricated in South Africa, she has sailed across the Atlantic several times. With upgrades along the way, she is a very comfortable seaworthy blue water boat. Her floor plan layout (see drawings in the gallery) is an owner's version allowing for a large suite on the starboard side and two portside ensuite cabins with their own bathrooms including separated head, sink, and shower. Her main salon is spacious with a large island galley, and combination lounge / dining area perfect for meals, games, and relaxing. Her cockpit is also spacious with a large dining table and lounge seating and a perfect smaller lounge great for an afternoon nap. The very aft Stella Blue boasts a massive chase lounge area perfect for watching the stars and water alike. Forward are two trampolines to lay out on and plenty of deck space to bask in the sun. Extra wide walkways on each side of the boat provide safe walking from aft to forward. Rinse off in the integrated overhead shower aft and if you want to float out of the sun, Capt. David recommends you hang out in the "Lanai" space under the boat between the keels. Plenty of shaded water space and a nice breeze. One of only 30 hulls built, Stella is a very special boat and certainly unique in comparison to others in her class.
About Stella (The Dog)
Stella is a 10 year old Tri-color Springer Spaniel. She is the sweetest dog ever, and her favorite activity is sleeping in all the various places on the boat. We keep her clipped to reduce shedding and she is well trained. We hope dog lovers join us in keeping Stella company on our adventures.
