St. John Boat Trips vs. Multi-Night Term Charters: Which Is Right for You?

The Virgin Islands offer a wide spectrum of charter experiences, from three-hour sunset sails to full week-long sailing vacations. Which one fits depends on how much time you have, what kind of trip you want, and whether the boat is the main event or part of a bigger picture.

Half-day boat trips

Multi-night term charters

Four to seven nights. This is the experience that changes how people think about vacationing. You don't pack and unpack daily, you wake up at the next stop, and the boat is your home for the week. It costs more, but it replaces lodging, most meals, and most activities — and it's the only way to see the quieter anchorages that day boats can't reach.
